Patrick Kirwan is a Director of Sales & Trading at WJB Capital Group, Inc. since January 2002. With over twenty (20) years of International & Domestic equity trading and sales trading experience, Mr. Kirwan couples his extensive knowledge of U.K., European, North American and Latin American markets with superior fundamental and technical analysis thereby providing our clients and firm with a wealth of knowledge.
Mr. Kirwan began his career as the Senior ADR Trader at Strauss Turnbull & Co. in London, England trading in all markets including South Africa , Hong Kong, and Japan. After moving to the U.S. in 1989, Mr. Kirwan specialized in the U.K. and European markets acting as the senior liaison between the London and New York block desks for Smith Barney. He was responsible for implementing index futures and stock options for hedge positions, as well as multicurrency trading positions between the respective block trading desks in London and New York. This experience led to Mr. Kirwan becoming the Senior Equity Trader at Smith New Court where he managed the Canadian, Mexican and Chilean trading desks.
Mr. Kirwan possesses his Series 7, 55 and 63 securities licenses.
