Michael Marino is the Derivative Strategist and Option Trader for WJB. Prior to joining WJB, he managed capital and served as the Compliance Registered Option Principal and Senior Registered Option Principal for a hedge fund. As the CROP and SROP, he oversaw the option trading for the firm and helped in the risk management of different portfolios. His option experience began as a junior specialist with TFM Investment Group on the floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. After being transferred to San Francisco, he joined Goldman Sachs as a Lead Market Maker on the floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange where he was responsible for making option markets in over 40 issues. He is a contributor to TheStreet.com website and has appeared on Fox News Radio.
Mr. Marino received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and minor in Economics from Saint Michael’s College in 1997. He is an active member in Autism Speaks and other various charity organizations.
Michael’s trading experience enables him to devise and execute complex option strategies both electronically and on the floors of different exchanges.
Mr. Marino possesses his Series 7, 55, 63 and 4 securities licenses. He is also in the process of obtaining the Series 86 and 87. |
