Frank DeMartino , Managing Director of Equity Trading, joined WJB Capital Group, Inc. in 2005 with eighteen (18) years of experience in NASDAQ Market Making, Electronic Routing and Algorithmic Trading.
Frank started his career at Nash Weiss & Company rising through the ranks to the position of Senior Trader. After spending eight (8) years at Nash Weiss, he left in 1995 to become one of the founding members of Knight Trading Group. While at Knight, Frank saw the company grow from a small startup to over $1.2 billion in annual revenue and over a $3 billion market capitalization at its peak. In 2003, when Mr. DeMartino left Knight he was a Vice President/Principal and Co-Manager of Knight Trading Group's Long Island office.
Most recently and prior to joining WJB, Frank worked at Crown Financial Group helping to convert them from a Brokerage House to a Risk Market Maker. He held the positions of Head of Nasdaq Trading, Co-Head of Sales Trading, and Trading Technology Development Liaison. He was integral in doubling their business and developing their proprietary trading technology. Mr. DeMartino's vast trading experiences combined with his knowledge of technology integration are a needed and welcome addition to the future of WJB.
Frank is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with a concentration of studies in Business and Political Science.
Mr. DeMartino possesses his Series 7, 24, 55, and 63 securities licenses. |
